Ruth G. Robinson, 98, of Dauphin, passed away on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024 at her home after a brief illness.
She was born on March 28, 1926, in Dauphin and was the daughter of the late Ruth (Speece) and Stanley Garman. Ruth was educated at William Penn High School in Harrisburg and West Chester State Teachers' College. She and her husband owned and operated Robinson's Grocery in Dauphin for 33 years.
Ruth was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Dauphin. She is survived by her son, Stanley B. Robinson of Dauphin and daughter, Judy A. Robinson of Honey Grove. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Will Robinson of Annapolis, MD, Zach Robinson of Dauphin, Jen Robinson Guerin of Bedford, VA, and Shane Robinson of Murfreesboro, TN; and six great-grandchildren: Tyler Robinson, Lauren Robinson, Taylor J. Robinson, Cedar Guerin, Colt Robinson, and Cash Robinson.
Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, C. Brooks Robinson, on Feb. 19, 2004.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
