Robert B. Muckel, 81, of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. He was the husband of the late Beverly A. (Wheeler) Muckel before her passing in March earlier this year. The couple were together for 37 years.
Born on July 28, 1943 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Fay F. and Jennie I. (Ward) Muckel. From 1963-1967, Robert serviced in the U.S. Navy before being honorably discharged.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Kimberly S. Alfred and husband, Philip, and Rhonda J. Smith and husband, James, both of Florida, and three grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Robert is preceded in death by brother, Fred Muckel.
All services will be private. He is to buried next to his beloved wife at Lind Memorial Cemetery. King-Barr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be sent at kingbarrfuneralhome.com.
