Betty M. Wilson, 97, of McVeytown, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 at Valley View Retirement Community. She was the loving wife of the late G. Richard Wilson for 69 years.
Born on Oct. 7, 1927 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harold Musser and Edna (Pully) Clinger. Betty is a long-time member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being a mother and housewife, gardening, her pets, and loved doing puzzles. Her favorite memories were spending time with her family and friend, Doris Scott, from third grade.
Betty is survived by her sons, Steven Wilson and wife, Kathleen, of Lewistown, and Michael Wilson and wife, Marianne, of McVeytown; two grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
All services will be private. Burial will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery. King-Barr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
