Ann O. Kester, 83, of Belleville, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born on Oct. 7, 1941 in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Babcock) Olskey. On Dec. 29, 1962, she married William D. "Bill" Kester, who survives at home.
Also surviving are children: Douglas R. Kester and wife, Carol of, Bloomsburg, Cindy A. Harpster and husband, Lewie of, Lewistown, and William T. Kester and wife, Pam of, Leola; grandchildren: Elizabeth Kester and husband, Dave, Paula Kester, Camille Kester, Mason Kester, Shawn Harpster and wife, Odalis, and Jahlina Kester; great-grandchildren: Joshua Csernak, Matthew Csernak, and Andrea Harpster Batista.
She was an only child. She graduated in 1959 from Lewistown High School and was also a graduate from Bloomsburg Teacher's College.
She loved quilting, sewing, crocheting, gardening, and various other crafts. She had a passion for music.
She was a member of the Belleville Civic Club and also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Belleville.
Per her wishes, there will be no services.
