Ronald B. "Shorty" North, 84 of Lewistown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 at Greenwood Village. He was the husband of Patricia K. (Yeater) North.
Born on Nov. 26, 1939 in Burnham, he was a son of the late Charles and Helen (Peters) North. Shorty worked as a mechanic for Roans Arco, All Star Ford, and Reeders. He was well liked by his customers and community. During his free time, Shorty loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the apples of his eye, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Shorty is survived by his daughters, Tammy Hornbaker of Lewistown and Jamie Johnston and husband, Holt, of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Mackenzie Lusco and husband, Tim, Brock Johnston, and Blayke Johnston; great grandchildren, Henry, James, and Sloane Lusko, and brothers, Barry North and wife, Joan, and Ray North. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Gary and Connie North.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024 at Mt. Rock Cemetery, Oakland Ave, Lewistown. King-Barr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
