Marlin L. Wilson

Marlin L. Wilson, 80, of Back Maitland Road, Lewistown, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 at his home.

Born Jan. 25, 1944, in McVeytown, he was a son of the late John H. and Anna M. (Estep) Wilson. His wife, Anna Marie C. (Varner) Wilson, preceded him in death on May 17, 2000.

Also preceding him in death were three siblings, John Wilson, Carol Saunders, and Grace Mitchell.

Surviving are: a daughter, Keitha A. Harshbarger and husband, Steven, of Lewistown; a brother, Roy D. Wilson of Lamar; two granddaughters, Rachel Shoemaker and husband, Derek, Nicole Beightol and husband, Jeremy; four great grandchildren, Adriana Shoemaker, Tristan Shoemaker, Landon Weaver, Liam Weaver; and a special companion, Lucy Magda.

Marlin was a truck driver for many years, retiring from Class1 Transport in McVeytown.

He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with his nephew, Pastor Kevin Wilson, officiating. Interment will be in Ryde Cemetery.
