Linda (Stutzman) Kinsloe, 64, of McAlisterville entered into rest on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital, with her husband by her side.
Born on Jan. 10, 1960 in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald L. Stutzman and Diane L. Stutzman. She is survived by her husband, David C. Kinsloe of McAlisterville, whom she married on May 17, 1975. Also surviving are two children, Scotty J. Kinsloe and wife, Tabitha of McAlisterville and Heather M. (Kinsloe) Woods and husband, Robert of Honey Grove. She is also survived by two brothers, Donald L. Stutzman, II and Ronald L. Stutzman both of Mifflintown, one sister, Cathy L. Harlan, of Lewistown. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Kayla Allen and husband, Ben, Tyler Amtower and wife, Lindsey, Brandon Amtower, Trevor, Lilly and Katie Kinsloe, Kenton and Karter Woods, as well as four great-grandchildren, Hayden and Louella Amtower, Luke and Levi Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Greg Stutzman.
Linda attended Cornerstone Community Church, Mifflintown. She was a homemaker but, was previously a long-time employee of Locust Grove Retirement Village and Berry's Personal Care.
She was the most fun-loving wife and mother and friend in the world. Linda had a joy for planting flowers and taking care of them. She had a "green thumb". She loved going fishing with her husband and spending time outdoors with him and going to Auctions. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family celebrating the holidays, birthdays and especially cookouts. She loved her dogs, Hannah and Hosser Boy so much.
A funeral service will be held for Linda on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Cornerstone Community Church in Mifflintown, with Pastor John Briggs officiating. A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. on Friday at the church. Interment will be held at Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.
