Kenneth E. Hatter Sr.

Kenneth E. Hatter Sr., 67, of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born Jan. 5, 1957 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late George and Ruth (Shope) Hatter.

Ken is survived by his wife, Tina (Marks) Hatter, his sons, Kenneth Hatter, Jr. and wife, Jessica, and Christopher Hatter and wife, Erin, all of Lewistown, his siblings, Douglas Hatter and wife, Cathy, of Mifflintown, Maria Hommes and husband, Gary, of Port Royal, and Kelly Beers and husband, Mark, of Liverpool, and grandchildren, Wyatt, Patton, Edison, and Jackson.

He proudly and honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Ken devoted over 30 years of his professional life to the Mifflin County Municipal Authority. Known for his strong work ethic and commitment to the community, he was respected by his colleagues and loved by those he served.

Ken could often be found by the water, indulging in his love for fishing, and he was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. However, his greatest passion was spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy and whom he cherished deeply.

A celebration of Ken's life will be announced at a later date.
