Donna Jane Bailor, 83, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Sept. 3, 1940, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Jay E. and Edna Mae (Shatzer) Wagner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick L. "Fred" Bailor, who passed Feb. 24, 2024; and siblings, Rick A. Wagner, David J. Shehan, Dolores J. Rapp, and Doris J. Barno.
She is survived by four children, Brian K. Bailor, of Laurel Run, Robin L. Stine and husband, Chester, of Lewistown, LaCinda S. Bailor and husband, Steven Carter, of Lewistown, Melanie A. Thomas and husband, Shawn, of Chambersburg; grandchildren, Darah Johnson and husband, Chad, Anthony Mowry and fiancÈ, Andrea Bingaman, Lauren Mowry, Brandyn McClary and wife, Stacy, Brycen McClary; and five great- grandchildren; and a sister, Carol A. Gill, of Lewistown.
Donna worked at Fisher's Electronics, American Visco Corporation, and at the Royale Dairy as a supervisor- waitress in the 1980s, where she retired.
She loved her animals and wildlife. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister and will be dearly missed.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
