Leah S. Peachey, 79 of Myerstown, died Wednesday July 24, 2024, at home. She was the wife of the late Benjamin Y. Peachey. Leah was born Sept. 17, 1944, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Jonas and Fannie Stoltzfus Lapp. She was a member of the old order Amish Church.
She is survived by sons: Jonas L. (Emma Lantz), of Myerstown; Rufus L. (Esther Troyer), of Mifflintown; James M. (Malinda Peachey), of Myerstown; Karl L. (Edna Troyer), of Elliottsburg; Thomas D. (Susie King) ,of Myerstown; Menno R. (Kaila Jackson), of Helena, MT; Fannie (Elmer Lantz) of Lebanon; Moses L. (Rosanna Lantz), of Herndon; Sarah M. (Jacob King), of Myerstown; 40 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers: Elam Lapp, of Myerstown and Jacob Lapp, of Schaefferstown; sisters: Sarah Lapp, Rebecca Peachey (Omar), Fannie Lapp (Aaron).
Preceding her in death are one son, three infant grandchildren, two infant great-grandchildren and a sister: Annie (Yoder).
Visitation to be held at 752 Stracks Dam Road until the day of the funeral at 9 a.m. standard time Friday July 26, 2024. The family requests no flowers.
