Stephen Daniel Bahorik, 86, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at his home in Port Royal.
Surviving are his wife, Linda (Wert) Bahorik, two children, Jim Bahorik (Brenda), and Betsy Aumiller (Kerry), one brother, Dr. Wesley Bahorik (Claudia), three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He taught science at Juniata High School and was principal at Lack Tuscarora, Tuscarora Valley and Walker Elementary Schools.
He enjoyed playing the guitar in several bluegrass bands and with the Strung Out Dulcimer Band.
His memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 at Messiah Lutheran Church, Mifflintown. The family will receive friends following the service.
The family will provide all flowers and requests that memorial contributions be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059.
