Lucinda Swartz, 75, died June 10, 2024, in her home surrounded by loved ones. Cindy was born Feb. 7, 1949, in Lewistown.
She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Elizabeth Burkholder. She is proceeded in death by brother, Robert Burkholder, sister Catherine Snyder, daughter Valerie Goss.
She is survived by loving husband, Roger Swartz. Cindy is also survived by her children, David, Melvin, and Jasen in addition to step-children Roger II and Garrett Swartz. She is also survived by brother, Pat Burkholder Sr., and sisters Mary Barger and Sue Burkholder.
She is survived by grandchildren, Keysha, Melvin IIl, Colby, Ty, Nick, Dilan, Briannca, Joshua, Amanda, Amber, Mahayla, Makyla, Morgan, and Caleb. She was also blessed with many great grandchildren and many beloved friends, including Karen Lewis and husband Sam.
She cherished spending time with family. She loved her husband and her family dearly. She was a member of Bethel AME Church. She was a certified cosmetologist and an owner of the Keg, Inc. for many years.
There will a celebration of life, which will be announced at a later time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
