Ginger Lea Scholl, 50 of McAlisterville, passed away at 2:50 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born on July 16, 1973 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she was the daughter of Stephen Scholl of Newton Hamilton and Lorene L. (Leister) Scholl of Mifflin.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her feline companion, Maggie.
Ms. Scholl graduated from East Juniata High School in 1991 and also graduated from Millersville University in 1995, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science and Biology.
Ginger was employed by New Day Charter School in Mifflintown where she taught Biology and Earth Science.
She was a member of Brown's Global Methodist Church in Cocolamus where she was a part of the Emaus Group.
Ginger enjoyed being with her family and friends, loved being with her cats, swimming, and jumping the ocean waves.
Memorial services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Brown's Global Methodist Church, 33401 Route 35 North, McAlisterville. Interment will be private.
A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial services at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville.
