Major Perry E. Lash (USAF-Ret), 85, of Las Vegas, born in Lewistown, died on April 28, 2024. He is survived by his wife Sally (Grimes) Lash; daughters, Kathy (Mike) Clements and Karyn (Rick) Bokum; and three grandchildren Steven, Brooke and Jonathan, all of Nevada.
Also surviving are two sisters, Carmen (Glen) Bilger of Mifflintown; and Elizabeth Ann (George) Houseweart of Dana Point, California.
Major Lash was the first Mifflin Countian to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, and had a long and distinguished career as a military combat pilot, including service in Vietnam. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and fly fishing.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
