Kevin J. Kaufman, 60, of Lewistown, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after 14 months of bravely battling complications from a tragic car accident.
Born on July 24, 1963, in Lewistown, he leaves behind his children, Ashley Thomas and husband, Peter, of State College, and Alex Kaufman and wife, Alison, of Bradenton, Fla., his grandchildren, Liv, Drew, Sid and Van Thomas, and Archer and Aria Kaufman.
Kevin was preceded in death by his long-time partner, Linda M. Stine, who passed away on June 5, 2023.
Kevin was blessed with amazing friends. Mike and Deb Ughetto and Hershel Cram who all went above and beyond to make sure Kevin was taken care of following his accident. The family is forever grateful.
Kevin worked as a telecommunications specialist for many years. Kevin absolutely loved cars and had extensive knowledge about all makes and models. His favorite was a Chevy Corvette. On weekends, Kevin enjoyed going antiquing and listening to live music.
We will love and miss Kevin until we are reunited one day.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown, with Pastor Jorn Junod officiating.
