Robbie D. Whitsel, 83, of Reedsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at her home.
Born Jan. 2, 1941, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Robert and Geraldine (Miller) Singer who preceded her in death.
Robbie is survived by her husband, Malcolm F. "Mac" Whitsel, whom she married on July 25, 1959, children, Marsha Smith and husband Steve, of Lewistown, Elaine Miller and husband Jeff, of Reedsville, and Greg Whitsel and wife LeeAnn, of Lewistown, grandchildren, Tyler Walker and wife Natalie, Drew Walker and wife Emily, Jessica Hutton and husband Aaron, Leslie Ricker and husband Derek, Carley Mattern and husband Jason, Hunter Walker and fiancÈ Sara Neff, Maddie Whitsel, and Lila Whitsel, 16 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Donald Singer and wife Judy, of Bellefonte.
She was a faithful member of Lewistown Alliance church for many years, where she played the piano, and served as a Sunday school teacher.
Robbie was a wonderful cook and baker, and was always there to prepare a meal for her family on Sundays. Her family meant so much to her, and the time spent with them was the highlight of her life.
A memorial service in loving memory of Robbie will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday April 29, 2024, at Lewistown Alliance Church, 50 Hudson Ave., Lewistown, with Pastor John Looney officiating. There will be a visitation held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville.
