Jacquelyn (Jackie) L. Walk (Morrisey), 82, of Lewistown, passed away on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.
Born on August 21, 1941, in Altoona, Pa., she is the daughter of the late J.J. Morrisey and Marguerite (Harlow) Morrisey.
On Sept. 8, 1962, she married the love of her life, Henry Walk, Jr, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Henry and Jackie lived in Altoona, Pa. where she worked at State Farm for more than 25 years. After retirement, the couple moved to Lewistown, Pa. Until recently Jackie attended St. Mark's Episcopal Church and spent many hours dedicating her time at Mother Hubbard's Cupboard.
Jackie is survived by her children, Sherri Connell and her husband Matthew Connell of Mifflintown, Terri Evey and her husband Matthew Evey of Hollidaysburg, her grandchildren Sarah, Anna, Brian (Courtney), Kyle, and Lauren.
Jackie will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a legacy of wanting to help others, and a huge love of animals, especially her cat Butch. At Jackie's wishes, no services will be held.
Because she spent time at Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, memorial contributions in Mrs. Walk's memory may be made to Mother Hubbard's Cupboard at 21 S Main Street, Lewistown, PA 17044.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to the Good Funeral Home, in Altoona, Pa.
