Beulah M. Killgore

Beulah M. Killgore, 88 of Lewistown, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on April 30, 1935, in Williamsburg, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Viola Jean (Sparr) Sollenberger. Beulah taught private music lessons for the piano, organ, and accordion. She also worked at Jamesway and then at Walmart before she retired. Before it's closing, Beulah and her sister would volunteer at Sunshine Connection. During her free time, she enjoyed collecting Barbies, crocheting, sewing and reading. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist in Mifflintown.

In addition to her parents, Beulah is preceded in death by daughter, Jamie Francisco; siblings, Elmit Sollenberger, Grace Rhodes, Sarah Sollenberger, and Paul Sollenberger; niece, Susie Rhoades, and great nephew, John Campbell.

Beulah leaves behind her grandchildren, Jen and Christopher Francisco; nephews, William Miller, Allen Miller, and Dan Rhoades; niece, Peggy Grove; great nieces and nephews, William, Brian, and Michael Miller, Jean Campbell, Scott Sollenberger, Allen Miller, Valerie Hitcho, and Stephanie Kratzer. Also, mourned by Frances Horne and family.

Beulah's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at William Penn for their hard work and dedication to their job.
