Robert R. Rosenberry, Sr., 85, of 717 Middle Road, Lewistown, passed away on Jan. 17, 2024, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
He was born on March 8, 1938, in Lewistown to the late Samuel E. and Florence M. (Krepps) Rosenberry. On Nov. 15, 1969, he married Cheryl (LaRoss) Rosenberry, who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 siblings.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children: Robert R. Rosenberry, Jr. and wife, Beverly of Reedsville, Tina Marie Smith of McClure, Gary L. Rosenberry and wife, Rae of Mifflintown, Mary (Shannon) Bowers and husband, Bill of Burnham; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a brother Donald Rosenberry and wife, Judy of Wilmington, Del., and a sister, Peggy Mort of Lewistown.
In the past, he was employed at American Viscose, Avtex Fibers, and lastly he was a Sewage Enforcement Officer for various townships.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies fan and liked singing karaoke.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
