Pauline S. Williard, 95, of Lewistown, passed away at 10:06 p.m., Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at Valley View Haven, Belleville.
Born Dec. 29, 1928, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Esther (Reigle) and Russell Stimely.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Wilkinson, and her husband of 68 years, James G. Williard, whom she married Feb. 28, 1948.
She is survived by: sons, James R. Williard, of Ashland, Va., and Rodger J. Williard, of Queens, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Melissa Campbell and husband, Robbert, and Allyson Conroy, both of Va.; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Kenley Campbell, Crew Campbell, and Nash Conroy; a sister, Dorothy (Stimely) Graham; two nieces and three nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pauline was a graduate of Lewistown High School, Class of 1946.
Aside from her duties as a housewife and mother, her work history included Danks & Co., Pennsylvania Glass Sand Corp., Skills Inc., and Standard Steel Corp., where she served as a receptionist and switchboard operator.
Pauline was a member of Grace UMC, and former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Order of The White Shrine of Jerusalem.
A memorial service will be held later at Grace United Methodist Church, Lewistown.
Interment will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown.
