Paula Jean Dressler "Jinka", 51, lost her battle with lung cancer on the evening of Dec. 23. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at Danville hospital. Jinka was born on May 12, 1972, in Lewistown, the daughter of Lois "Susie" Harpster (Hockenberry) and the late Michael J Kessler.
Jinka lived a vibrant life. She had a fearless spirit, unwavering friendship and deep love for family and children. She also had a dedication to hard work, a passion for riding her Harley, and she loved to dance. She was able to visit some far away bucket list places such as Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Florida beaches; and some at home special places both on the river and relaxing at Beebs. Jinka had a unique blend of strength and joy that defined her journey through life and she touched many souls while she was here.
Jinka was married to Scott "Ox" Paden, father of Erica Paden; Shane Swartz, father of Kalista Inch; and Jared Dressler, father of Malena Dressler.
Jinka was preceded in death by her grand parents, Charles C Hockenberry and Beatrice Winifred Hockenberry, her first husband, Scott "Ox" Paden, her second husband, Shane Swartz, and her daughter, Erica Paden.
Jinka is survived by her mother, Lois "Susie" Harpster(Hockenberry), her sisters, Pamela McPhatter and Susan Imes, her daughters, Kalista Inch and Malena Dressler, and her granddaughter Leila Inch.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Jan 12 at 6 p.m. at Bunkertown Brethern Church in McAlisterville, Pa.
