Martina M. Peachey, 96, of Clearwater, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024.
She was born on May 11, 1927, in Belleville to the late Wesley H. and Alice M. (Smith) Krepps. Her husband, Melvin A. Peachey, preceded her in death on April 2, 2008.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn D. Krepps, Buddy H. Krepps, and Robert W. Krepps and three sisters, Betty Sharp, Jean Stoltzfus and Peggy Yoder.
Surviving are her children: LaVern R. Yoder of Clearwater, Fla., Lynn E. Peachey and wife, Patricia of Petersburg, Pa., James K. Peachey and wife, Jan of Reedsville, Pa., JoAnn M. Osmun and husband, John of Frostproof, Fla.; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Zook and Zelda "Ruth" Krepps, both of Milroy, Pa.
She was a high school graduate, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was primarily a homemaker and had previously been employed at Costco and Weis Markets.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Henderson Funeral Home, 3813 West Main Street, Belleville, PA with Dr. Lowell Stoltzfus officiating. Burial will take place at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Belleville, Pa.
