Adaline G. Pellman, 94, formerly of Thompsontown, passed away at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, at North Ridge Center Personal Care in McAlisterville.
Born on April 2, 1929, in Delaware Twp., Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Sara A. (Smith) Graybill. On July 21, 1951, she married her late husband, Paul L. Pellman, with whom she was blessed to share over 48 years of marriage before his passing on June 16, 2000.
She is survived by her two sons, John G. Pellman and his wife Dawn of Millerstown and Anthony S. Pellman and his wife Brenda of Mifflintown; four grandchildren, Joshua Pellman and his wife Monica, Drew Pellman, Ethan Pellman and his wife Nina, and Autumn Bolinger and her husband Curtis; six great-grandchildren; one sister in law, Deldiah Graybill; and many generations of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 15 siblings making her the last of her generation.
She was a 1947 graduate of Thompsontown Joint High School and a 1948 graduate of Central Pennsylvania Business College in Summerdale.
Mrs. Pellman began her career as a proud homemaker; after which, she was employed as a Secretary to the Members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and the Pennsylvania Senate where she remained until her retirement.
Her memberships included the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Thompsontown where she was a former member of the Church Council and the Church Choir and a former member of the Gov. Mifflin Chapter No. 260, Order of the Eastern Star.
In earlier life, Adaline was an avid golfer and enjoyed hosting "The Porch Gang" on Pine Street in Thompsontown.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Richard Adams and the Rev. Michael Sigler officiating. Interment will take place in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Thompsontown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Pellman's memory may be made to the Meals on Wheels of Juniata County, P.O. Box 251, Mifflintown, PA 17059 or to the Juniata County Food Pantry, PO Box 44, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
