It is with immense sadness that the family shares the untimely death of CSSA Isaiah P. Pent, who passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2023, in Pennsylvania. Isaiah was 19 years old.
Isaiah is survived by his Mother and Father Doreen and Charles, Siblings: Charles A. Pent and wife, Elizabeth, Daniel Pent and partner, Brooke Westover, Kaleb Pent and partner, Monica Wagner, Jacob Pent, Elizabeth Stricker and husband, Shawn, Christian (CJ) Pent, and Shamar Nelson. Isaiah also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, naval shipmates, and church family. In addition, Isaiah will be forever loved and remembered by his girlfriend, Megan Baumgardner, his best friend, Shawn McDowell, and his Aunt Debbie and her children, whom he had a special bond with. Preceding him in death, was Isaiah's Uncle Rich.
Isaiah was born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, on March 17, 2004. He graduated from Mifflin County High School in 2022 and very proudly joined the U.S Navy soon after, serving as a Culinary Specialist onboard USS Virginia (SSN-74), stationed in Kittery Maine.
Isaiah was a sensitive soul with a big heart who loved his family and animals. His hobbies included drawing, completing spray paint art, and cooking. He had incredible artistic talent.
Isaiah can be best described as a giving and selfless person. Sharing with others brought him joy, and his warm smile exuded the joy and love that was within him. He cared deeply for the people in his life, and was kind and compassionate to their needs. Isaiah's untimely death leaves a deep chasm in the lives of those who love him.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the McVeytown Presbyterian Church, 5 North Queen St., McVeytown, with Pastor Travis Habbershon and Pastor John Reed officiating.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the church.
