Jonathan R. Byler, 67, lost his fight with Multiple Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis on Sunday, Oct. 9, at IU Hospital, Indianapolis, surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born Oct. 15, 1954, in Belleville, to Bennett and Lena (Hartzler) Byler.
His surviving siblings are Urbane (Janet) Byler, James (Marie) Byler, Jason (Tillie) Byler, Ruby (Russ) Freed, Chipper Culler, and Sue (Blake) Byler Ortman.
Jon graduated from Eastern Mennonite College in 1976. He owned Cornerstone Carpenters, Inc.
He married Sherrie Thompson in May 1989 at Tri Lakes Community Church, Bristol.
She survives along with two sons, Joel (Katie) Byler and Jarah Byler.
