Steven P. Pacini, 63, of Chambersburg, passed away April 28, 2021, at Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 3, 1958, in Pittsburgh, to Philip and Joan (Miller) Pacini.
Steve is survived by his wife, Michele Wallace Pacini. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Pacini, of Lewistown, and his brother, Michael Pacini (and wife Mischa) of Sarasota, FL. Steve is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip (Buck) Pacini, and a brother, Vincent Pacini.
A 1977 graduate of Lewistown High School, Steve received a B.S. in Business Administration from St. Vincent College in 1981. He served 25 years in the Marine Corps, having served in the Persian Gulf and Expeditionary Forces. Steve achieved the rank of Major.
Following his distinguished military career, Steve had an accomplished career in manufacturing management in the automotive industry. His last position was with Pratt Whitney. Steve was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.
One of Steve's most prominent qualities was his loud, commanding, and witty voice which he used to express his love of country, family, and friends. Steve will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday May 3, 2021, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Ortanna. Due to COVID restrictions, the funeral mass is limited to family only. However, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Steve's name to Mifflin County Veterans Affair, 20 North Wayne St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
