Karen L. Snedeker, 70, died on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Snedeker and Bonnie L. Snedeker, of Ort Valley.
She is survived by; her brother, Jan Snedeker and wife, Cathe, of Belleville; nephews, Jess Snedeker and wife, Carly, of Zurich, Switzerland, Ben Snedeker and wife, Elisha, of Bala, Cynwyd; great-nieces and nephews, Mea, Rowan, Henry, and Ian.
Karen was a graduate of the Grier School, in Tyrone, where she developed her love of horses and riding. She was a graduate of the Biscayne Paramedical Institute as a Veterinary Assistant.
She owned and operated Swamp Fox Stables in Mifflintown.
Her loyal companion cats, Niken and Freckles, will miss her and are looking for good homes.
The Snedeker family is thankful for the kind and loving attention of her caregivers, especially Mary Allen, of Lewistown.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
