By Laura Dallman University of Florida The Conversation Curious Kids is a series for children of all ages. If you have a question you’d like an expert to answer, send it to curiouskidsus@theconversation.com. Who invented music? — Rom, age 7, Las Vegas, Nevada The short answer is: No one knows who invented music. Former pastor offers to assist churches and build faith

LEWISTOWN — A former Mifflin County pastor is looking to help struggling churches in the area to help others come closer to Jesus Christ. Dr. Howard Houtz and his Church Ministry Assessments, formed in November of this year, has made it his mission to help keep the faith in Mifflin County. “Basically what I’ve heard over the years is that a number of churches are declining, churches that don’t know what to do next and I have had people approach me,” Houtz said. “I’ve had other churches say things like, ‘I don’t know why we can’t grow, we don’t have any children ...

As expected, at the end of the evening, Santa came out on stage and asked the kids “So, who’s been a good boy or girl this year?” All the kids raised their hands and said “Meeee!!” The funny thing was, when he asked them, “And ...
