UMC to host Bible study
LEWISTOWN -- First Bakers United Methodist Church will host a Bible study every Wednesday at 7 p.m. They will also host a youth group for individuals under age 18 on the first Thursday of each month, except July.

McALISTERVILLE -- Worship every Sunday at 9 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 420 Main St. in McAlisterville.
We have begun the 2nd annual Toilet Paper Bowl of Caring collection with Lost Creek Presbyterian Church. Last year we jointly collected 347,000 sheets of toilet paper for the Juniata County Food Pantry. This year we have challenged ourselves to collect 360,000 sheets, roughly 2,400 single rolls, of toilet paper. All donations are due by Sunday, Feb. 12.

Winter art camp at Lost Creek Mennonite Church
MIFFLINTOWN -- There will be a winter art camp at Lost Creek Mennonite Church in Mifflintown on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Two classes for children: kids art and kids cooking. GriefShare at Pine Glen
Alliance Church
McVEYTOWN -- GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after the death of a loved one. GriefShare is for 13 weeks and will begin Thursday, March 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the FLC at the Pine Glen Alliance Church along Rt. 103 near McVeytown. The group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and want to help you through the difficult days ahead.
