Strodes Mills Baptist Church
Strodes Mills Baptist Church, 8151 U.S. Hwy 522 N., McVeytown, will hold VBS from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 25 to 29 for children 3 years to 6th grade. The theme is Kookaburra Coast: Awesome Adventures in God's Glory, focusing on the Exodus of God's people from Egypt. There will be singing and a lesson, craft, snack and game every night. Ridge View Mennonite Church
Ridge View Mennonite Church, 5142 US-522, McClure, is hosting VBS at 7 p.m. Aug. 1 to 5. Classes for Kindergarten- 8th grade, as well as a class for adults ages 15+. No registration needed.
Parkview Church of the Brethren
Parkview Church of the Brethren, Parcheytown Road, Lewistown, will partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship for vacation Bible school with the theme "Turned Around." The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 1 to 4. All youth are welcome. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling. Caregivers are asked to send children with safe shoes or sneakers for outdoor games and activities. No flip flops. Offerings will be collected daily to benefit CEF.
