Grace United Methodist Church
Grace United Methodist Church will hold a Bible School event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18. The theme is "God's Clubhouse!" Children ages starting kindergarten in the fall through completed 5th grade as of this spring are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided. Mennonite, Delaware Mennonite
East Salem Otterbein UMC and Delaware Mennonite Churches will hold VBS with the theme "Food Truck Party: On a Roll with God" from 6 to 8 p.m. June 19 to 23 at East Salem UMC 7393 PA-235, Mifflintown. The event is open to youth ages 4 to sixth grade.
Trinity Lutheran Church
Trinity Lutheran Church will hold a free camp-themed VBS from 6 to 8 p.m. June 19 to 23 with the theme "Boundless: God Beyond Measure" for children ages 3 to 6th grade. Register by June 2 to receive a T-shirt. Call 717-463-3428 or email TLChurch17049@gmail.com to register.
Big Valley Bible Church
Big Valley Bible Church, 139 W. Railroad St., Reedsville, will hold VBS from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 20-24 with the theme "Created by Christ -- Designed for His Purpose." For children entering Kindergarten through children entering 6th grade. Call 717-667-3123 to register or leave a message.
Fairview Bible Church
Fairview Bible Church, 5290 state Route 103N Lewistown, VBS will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 20 to 23 for children ages 3 to 12. The theme this year is "Zoomerang." There will be fun, food, lessons and prizes.
Bethel AME
Bethel A.M.E. Church Hope Center, 23 N. Juniata St., Lewistown, will be 6 to
8 p.m. June 22 to 24. Participants can learn about Jonah the whale and enjoy crafts and whales.
Locust Grove Church
Locust Grove Church will hold 2022 Vacation Bible School from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 26 to 29. There will be Bible adventures, games, crafts, science experiments, snacks, and hilarious Ralliesh! The event is for kids age 4 to completion of fifth grade. Register online by using the QR code at https://locustgrovemc.org/.
Strodes Mills Baptist Church
Strodes Mills Baptist Church, 8151 U.S. Hwy 522 N., McVeytown, will hold VBS from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 25 to 29 for children 3 years to 6th grade. The theme is Kookaburra Coast: Awesome Adventures in God's Glory, focusing on the Exodus of God's people from Egypt. There will be singing and a lesson, craft, snack and game every night. Lower Tuscarora Presbyterian Church in the Academia area of Mifflin, be 9-11:30 a.m. June 27 through July 1. The theme is Rainforest explorers -- Jesus Leads the Way. There will be Bible lessons, music, games, snacks, and crafts. A picnic for students and families will follow a short presentation by students on Friday. Good News Lutheran Brethren/Bunkertown Brethren will hold VBS from 5:45 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22 at Bunkertown Brethren Church, 52 Bunkertown Road, McAlisterville with the theme "Zoomerang." VBS is open for ages 4 years to 6th grade completion. Children will learn how much God values each life, from the tiniest to the largest and the youngest to the oldest.
