Ministry to support single moms
BELLEVILLE -- The Mifflin County Single Moms Care and Support Group will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the second and fourth Fridays at New Life Church Cafe, 101 Beech St., Burnham from Sept. 10, 2021 to May 27, 2022.
Dinner is served from 6:30 to 7 p.m. for mothers and children. Child care runs from 7 to 8 p.m. while mothers meet in a group. For more information, call or text Ann at (717) 437-4946.
Lewistown AOG host speaker
LEWISTOWN -- Pastor Mike Bailey will be the Guest Speaker at Lewistown Assembly of God Church, 160 Summit Drive, Lewistown, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1.
Trinity Lutheran to offer special service
McALISTERVILLE -- Trinity Lutheran Church will hold "Holy Humor Sunday on May 1. This service stems from the ancient Greek Christian tradition of hosting festivals with laughter and dancing during the season of Easter to celebrate Jesus' defeat of evil and the devil. Worship services are 9 a.m. at the church, 420 Main St. Services are streamed live on Facebook, YouTube and www.trinitymcalisterville.org.
Stony Run to host events
McALISTERVILLE -- Stony Run Mission Church, 2825 Evendale Hill Road, McAlisterville, will offer the following programs:

UMC to host Bible study
LEWISTOWN -- First Bakers United Methodist Church will host a Bible study every Wednesday at 7 p.m. They will also host a youth group for individuals under age 18 on the first Thursday of each month, except July.

Promise Ranch to hold open house
McALISTERILLE -- Promise Ranch Ministries, 106 Meadow Lane, will hold its annual open house and fundraising event from noon to 5 p.m. May 7.
There will be free admission and parking. Activities for the children will include horse rides, wagon rides, critter corral and airplane candy drop. The following competitions will be held: feed sack race, three-legged race, hay bale throwing and a dummy calf roping. In addition, there will be live music, a drill team show, and a silent basket auction for the camp scholarship fund.

Kish Valley to host concert
REEDSVILLE -- Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church will host a free concert from 5 to 7 p.m. April 30 with Joe Bonson and Coffee Run.
Church to hold movie night
MIFFLINTOWN -- First Baptist Church will hold a free family movie/meal night at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 1 in the family ministry center. The church is loccated on state Route 35, one mile north of Mifflintown. The meal begins at 5 p.m. and includes: tacos, baked beans, applesauce, bake and a beverage.
The movie, "God's Not Dead: We The People" will follow the meal. Dress casual & bring a lawn chair, if you desire.
Prison ministry to host banquet
BELLEVILLE -- Gospel Echoes Team Prison Ministries will host its annual banquet at 6:30 p.m. May 9 at Belleville Mennonite School, 4105 Front Mountain Road, Belleville. A free will offering will be taken. There will be gospel music, multi media, dinner, prison testimonies and ministry updates. For reservations, contact Josh and Cindy Rhodes at (717) 437-5357. Required tickets are $8 per person. Ages 5 and under are free.
Gospel quartet to perform at Messiah
MIFFLINTOWN -- Messiah Lutheran Church will host Grace Gospel Quartet during 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, May 22.
Summer camps return to East Kish
REEDSVILLE -- Summer day camps at East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church, 100 Walnut Street, Reedsville, will be held at no cost to campers. To register a child, or for more information, call Gail Wagner at (717) 667-6526. Grades refer to grade that child has completed. Camps will be offered as follows:
¯Art Camp -- 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 20-24, grades 3 and up, lunch is provided;
¯Computer Camp -- 1 to 5:30 p.m. July 11-15. grades 4 and up, snack provided;
¯Kids Camp -- 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., July 18-22, kindergarten through grade 2, lunch provided;
¯Sewing Camp -- 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., July 25-29, grade 4 and up, lunch provided.
Centre Lutheran to host day camp
MIFFLINTOWN --A summer day camp sponsored by Centre Lutheran Church, Mifflintown in partnership with Camp Mount Luther will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 20-24 daily at the church. Kids who have completed kindergarten through sixth grades are invited to come and experience outdoor ministries close to home. Staff from Camp Mount Luther and volunteers from the congregation will be on hand to bring fun, fellowship, and the love of God through our day camp program. Day camp includes games, sports, Bible study, singing, crafts and worship. Call (717) 436-8916 for more information and to register by June 10.
