Coffee house to feature music
LEWISTOWN -- Ellen Chapel Church will host a coffee house beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday. Free concerts will be provided by Sam Marasco and Vya Rosco-gospel (a father and daughter duo) who will perform gospel, bluegrass, country, and original songs.
After an intermission to enjoy a cup of coffee or iced tea and a light snack, Doug Irwin and Brian Homan will provide a variety of older songs for your enjoyment.
Admission is free but donations are accepted.
Ministry to support single moms
BELLEVILLE -- The Mifflin County Single Moms Care and Support Group will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the second and fourth Fridays at New Life Church Cafe, 101 Beech St., Burnham from Sept. 10, 2021 to May 27, 2022.
Dinner is served from 6:30 to 7 p.m. for mothers and children. Child care runs from 7 to 8 p.m. while mothers meet in a group. For more information, call or text Ann at (717) 437-4946.
UMC to host Bible study
LEWISTOWN -- First Bakers United Methodist Church will host a Bible study every Wednesday at 7 p.m. They will also host a youth group for individuals under age 18 on the first Thursday of each month, except July.
Milroy church hosts revival meetings
MILROY -- Pilgrim Holiness Church will hold revival meetings April 8-10. The scheduled speaker is Bro. Greg Thacker with special music every service.
Services are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call (717) 250-5230.
Dates for prophecy conference set
REEDSVILLE -- The Big Valley Bible Church, 139 West Railroad St, will be having a prophecy conference fro April 8-10. The guest speaker is Bruce Scott. He is with Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. He will be speaking at seven sessions and then leading a Passover banquet.
On Saturday, April 9, session 3, The Rapture, will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Session 4, The Tribulation, part 1 will be held from 10:45 a.m. to noon. Lunch will be provided by the church for all who attend. Session 5, The Tribulation, part 2 will be held from 1-2 p.m. Session 6, The Kingdom, will be held frrom 2:15-3:30 p.m.
A morning worship service and session 7, The Eternal State, will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 10.
The conference will conclude on Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m. with a Passover banquet provided by the church. Reservations are required to attend the banquet. Seating is limited. Call (717) 667-3123 to make reservations.
Milroy UMC to host Bible study
MILROY --Milroy United Methodist Church, 91 S. Main St., will host a Bible study on Monday nights beginning March 7. 'The Twelve Disciples" is a six-week study about the men who were closest to Jesus.

Reedsville UMC to host 'Only God Can'
REEDSVILLE -- Reedsville United Methodist Church, 60 East Logan Street, will host a free movie night at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10. Refreshments will be served.
The movie shown, "Only God Can," is a powerful thought-provoking film highlighting the realization that "All things are possible with God" and with faith we can overcome anything. The movie explores the lifetime bond of five friends struggling through life's challenges that become more difficult with each passing year. It brings to light the relationships the women have with each other and the relationship they lack with God. The movie depicts real-life situations that many of us can identify with and the women are relatable.
Upcoming concert to fund repairs
LEWISTOWN -- St. John's Lutheran Church, 120 N. Main St., will host a benefit concert to replace sections of the church's roof. The concert will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16. There will be instrumental and vocal selections.
Gospel quartet to perform at Messiah
MIFFLINTOWN -- Messiah Lutheran Church will host Grace Gospel Quartet during worship service on Sunday, May 22.
Paintersville to offer spring rally
LEWISTOWN -- Paintersville Christian and Missionary Alliance will hold a Spring Rally April 24-27. The The speaker will be Sanford Good, founder of Live 10:27 Ministries. Mercy Run will be providing music for the Sunday services only on April 24.
Sunday morning service will be 10:15 a.m. to noon. Evening services will be 7 to 8 p.m.
