Burnham/Derry
Ministerium
BURNHAM -- Burnham/Derry Ministerium will host a Lenten service April 10 , Palm Sunday at Ellen Chapel with music arranged by R.B. Powel. Offerings will be used by the ministerium.
Stony Run Mission Church
McALISTERVILLE -- Stony Run Mission Church, 2825 Evendale Hill Road, McAlisterville, will offer the following programs:
¯ April 15 -- Good Friday candlelight communion service at 7 p.m.
¯ April 17 -- Sunrise service at 7 a.m. with Jim Bob Neimond sharing. Worship service at 9:15 a.m. with Pastor Nick Smith. No evening service.
Maitland Church of the Brethren
LEWISTOWN -- Maitland Church of the Brethren will host a Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. on Good Friday with light refreshments. There will be a Service of Darkness.
A sunrise service will be held on Easter morning at 6:30 p.m.
McAlisterville
Ministerium
McALISTERVILLE -- The McAlisterville Ministerium will host the Lenten worship series "Questions in the Wilderness." Due to COVID, the service will be recorded and streamed on the McAlisterville Ministerium Facebook page at 7 p.m. each day (www.facebook.com/mcalistervillemin)
¯April 10 -- Jodi Strawser of Pass the Salt Ministries will preach on "How can I get Clean?"
¯April 15 -- Terry Smith of Free Spring Church of the Brethren will lead a Good Friday service, answering the question "What will nourish my faith?"
Port Royal pray

PORT ROYAL -- Port Royal Men's Lenten Pray Breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. each Saturday in the Port Royal Community building. There will be a $5 charge for breakfast to cover the meal. Speakers will be as follows:

East Waterford
Presbyterian Church
EAST WATERFORD -- East Waterford Presbyterian Church will host a Lenten teas at 9:30 a.m. in the church social hall April 13. Troy Burd will be the speaker.
Ellen Chapel Church
LEWISTOWN -- Ellen Chapel Church will present "Lord, Is It I" beginning at 7 p.m. April 14 for Maundy Thursday.
After Jesus announced "One of you will betray me," individuals portraying the disciples each ask themselves the question, "Lord, Is It, I?"
Messiah Lutheran Church
MIFFLINTOWN -- Messiah Lutheran Church will hold a Maundy Thursday Vesper and Breakfast at 7 a.m. April 14.
The Good Friday Tenebrae service begins at 7:30 p.m. April 15.
The Sunday schedule includes a 10 a.m. Easter egg hunt. Children should bring baskets to collect eggs. Sunday School at 9:15 a.m, Worship/Communion/Jr. Church at 10:30 am. There is a children's sermon every Sunday.
The services are live on AM RADIO 1700 broadcast each week. We look forward to announcing the ordination of Vicar Samuel Leister this summer.

Watts Memorial United Methodist
BELLEVILLE -- Watts Memorial United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Walnut and Green streets, will hold the following services during Holy Week:
¯ April 14 -- 7 p.m. Holy Thursday service with communion
¯ April 17 -- 6:15 a.m. Easter sunrise service in the church parking lot; Easter Sunday worship at 9 a.m.
Trinity Lutheran Church
McALISTERVILLE -- Trinity Lutheran Church, 420 Main St., will host the following services during Holy Week:
¯ Maundy Thursday -- 7 p.m., April 14
¯ Easter sunrise -- 7 a.m. April 17 -- St. Peter's Grove -- Joint service with Lost Creek Presbyterian. An outdoor service will be held in the pavilion behind the church, weather permitting.
¯ Easter Sunday service -- 9 a.m. April 17.

Yeagertown UMC
YEAGERTOWN -- Maundy Thursday services will be held at Rhodes United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. April 14.
Good Friday services will be held at 7 p.m. at Yeagertown United Methodist Church.
A Sunrise/breakfast ervice will be held at Rhodes United Methodist Church at Rhodes UMC at 6:30 p.m.
Grove Memorial UMC
LEWISTOWN -- Grove Memorial United Methodist Church, 611 S. Main St., will hold a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. April 14 with communion. It will also hold an Easter Sunday service at 9:45 a.m.
Reedsville United
Methodist Church
REEDSVILLE -- Maundy Thursday worship with communion will be held at 7 p.m. April 14 at Reedsville United Methodist Church, 60 E Logan Street Reedsville.
A Good Friday service will be held at 7 p.m. April 15 at Church Hill United Methodist Church,199 Woodland Circle Reedsville.
On Easter morning, a sunrise service will be held at Church Hill Cemetery at 6:30 a.m. April 17. If there is bad rain, it will be held at Church Hill UMC, 199 Woodland Circle.
Easter services will also be held at Reedsville United Methodist Church at 9 a.m., Church Hill United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. and Milroy United Methodist Church at 11:15 a.m.
Paintersville Christian and Missionary Alliance

First Baptist Church of Juniata County
MIFFLINTOWN --First Baptist Church of Juniata County, state Route 35, one mile north of Mifflintown, will offer the following Easter Sunday services on April 17:
¯ 7 a.m. -- Sunrise service
¯ 8 a.m. -- Free breakfast in the FMC
¯ 9:30 a.m. -- Special Easter service cantata: Salvation's Story - The work that was started at Christmas was finished at Easter: His cross, His blood, the grave - His sacrifice of love. His resurrection day has made a way for us.
There will be no 8 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. morning services, Sunday School or evening service on Easter Sunday.
Jack's Mountain
BELLEVILLLE --A multidenominational Easter sunrise service will be held at 6:30 a.m. April 17 at Jack's Mountain, Belleville. For information, call (717) 436-8010.
Lewistown Ministerium
LEWISTOWN -- Prayer services, sponsored by the Lewistown Ministerium, are scheduled for noon Wednesdays during Lent at local Lewistown churches for the general public, to inspire spiritual renewal and union with Christ in preparation for Easter. Services will be in person, in the church, about a half hour long, with scripture readings and a sermon delivered. No lunch will be served. The schedule is as follows:
¯ April 25 -- Stations of the Cross inside Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 106 N. Dorcas Street, Lewistown, guided by members of the Lewistown Ministerium clergy. At noon, a "Cross Walk" will begin from the steps of Sacred Heart Church, with participants taking turns in carrying a large wooden cross through the streets of Lewistown, and pausing periodically, before various governmental and service centers (Courthouse, Prison, United Way, fire department, etc.) with designated leaders praying out loud for the services and constituents of those associated with those centers. All are welcome to participate.
