To "turn the tide" is to reverse the trend of events.
Jesus is reversing the trend of events in Mifflin County. For far to long, the enemy has had his way. For far to long, the enemy has run roughshod over the people in our community. But not today! I said, NOT TODAY!
It's time to get your hopes up!
We are seeing a new trend in town. Instead of overdoses, addicts are finding freedom and becoming overcomers. Instead of domestic violence, families and marriages are being restored. Instead of bars being packed with people, churches are filling up and the lost are being saved on a regular basis. Instead of people being demonized, they're being delivered. Instead of pastors being in competition with each other, they are meeting regularly to pray together. The darkness is lifting and hope is rising in Mifflin County. Keep your eyes on Jesus. The dark tide is turning.
Miracles, signs and wonders are the new norm. Salvation and transformation are what I see trending. Restoration and healing are what I see trending. Hope, joy, and peace are beginning to flood our streets. Stop complaining and keep praying.
Sin wrote us all a death sentence, but Jesus turned the tide with His blood. Remember the cross. Our God is a tide turning God. From death to life, bound to free, lost to found, sick to healed, dark to light, this is what Jesus does. He specializes in turning the tide.
My friends, this is a day the Lord has made, REJOICE! Revival has begun! Mifflin County belongs to Jesus! Never stop praying!
