Hello Monday morning!
I wrote this on a rainy Monday morning and it made the week's beginning so much more palatable. God gave us Mondays and we need to find His peace and carry it in good times as well as these turbulent times.
Thank you Lord for these rains that come in the natural and for the rains in the spiritual. God wants them to be healing rains, available to us day or night.
I post words of encouragement daily on Facebook that often concerns relationships and the need to keep praising God an learning ore about forgiveness. These two things are forever entwined. These are God's commands and if we choose to "walk" contrary to them then we are on very dangerous ground. Look out!
We will soon find ourselves in a storm and realize we will need to "tread water" just to stay alive! God's heart is a heart of love, compassion and forgiveness. He longs for us to seek Him and His divine will. And He always has a perfect timing. He wants us to seek forgiveness and then forgive ourselves and others.
We can set the "bar too high or we can set it too low. Loving God, ourselves and others is how we will fulfill His loving commands and walk in submission and obeduience. We will do this daily if we go to the cross of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul said that he died daily to his fleshy desires. Seeking Jesus was how he live and we must do the same in order to stay in "tune" with God's way of living. Jesus is the master potter that forms the clay and repairs any crack we are earthen vessels indeed! We must allow Him to show us our "cracks" and then allow Him to lovingly repair us. He's living water and we are to be vessels of honor for Him. Filled up and spilling over is what I always say. This way we touch others' lives and then go on to fulfill God's plans and what He purposed for us. Bless God! He's the Best!
We can have problems when it comes to forging ourselves and others. We can often believe that it is a "done deal." Sometimes we can be "blinded" to that fact. Conditions will have been set and we will not be aware of any possible ramifications. But God is always there for us to show us what weneed to see. The devil wants to keep us in any area of darkness. He wants His way and he will do whatever it takes to keep us from "lining up" fully with God's sovereign way. The devill does not want us "broken" before God's mercy seat, God's throne of grace. He doesn't want us going to the true and sovereign Lord of the universe. He doesn't want us lovable and loving. He doesn't want us forgivable and forgiving. He wants to be able to "yank any chains" and pull what ever strings. There are always "strings" attached to what he does. He's totally evil. He "banks" on us to fall short of any desire to follow God always. He's always been a master manipulator and a liar. He's totally opposite of God in every way. He's subtle and crafty. He lives in darkness, but tries to come as light to keep us in the dark. Read on and be encouraged.
Jesus said that we are the light of the world. He wants us seeking Him and His great light and then going forth in what I call "shiny" for Jesus! Every month at my Hand of Grace service is a time of love, laughter and praise along with tears. Sometimes tears of repentance, but always ending with tears of joy!
This is a "word" that I needed to receive again and one that I "needed" to share with all of you. If we take this word to "heart" we will be free indeed! Be greatly encouraged, go then forth and "shine" for Jesus. Desire God's best and sing His praises always! We are free indeed.
I am singing (of course) as I close out this freedom message. Here's the song, but if you have never sung it, then make your own "tune." After all, you are tuned in to God's station. Go for His gold!
"We shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills will break forth with singing. We'll go out with joy and be led forth with peace as we go out with joy! And all the trees of the fields will clap their hands. the trees of the field will clap their hands as we go out with Joy!"
God bless you abundantly. Now remember that no one will love you the way that God loves you and I love you, too!.
