Lewistown Community Bible School

Lewistown Community Bible School will hold vacation Bible school with the theme Torchbearers (Olympic Theme) from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 11-15 at Lewistown Presbyterian Church with a Pool Party at Rec Park on Friday, July 16. The program is available for ages 4 to those going into sixth grade. There will also bea an adult program.

Lewistown Community Bible School

Lewistown Presbyterian Church will host the Lewistown Community Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday July 11 thorugh Thursday, July 15, with the Olympics theme Torchbearers: Taking the Gospel Global theme.

Participating churches also include First United Methodist, Sacred Heart Catholic, Calvary Lewistown and St. John's Lutheran. All children age 4 to grade 5 are welcome. New Life Church

New Life Church, Burnham, will hold Vacation Bible School with the theme Mystery Island as we track down the One True God for ages 4-12. The event will be held 6-8 p.m. July 12-16. Registration is open at www.newlife101.org/newlifekids

Baker's United Methodist Church

Baker's United Methodist Church, McClure, will hold vacation Bible school with the theme Knights of North Castle from 7 to 9 p.m. July 12 to 17. Brethren

Burnham Church of the Brethren, 541 Freedom Ave., will host Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m. July 12-16, for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The program will be presented by the Child Evangelism Fellowship team. The program will include Bible lessons, missionary story, songs, games, fun activities, crafts and snacks. Mifflintown Family Worship Center

Mifflintown Family Worship Center, 4042 William Penn Highway, will host Under the Big Tent with lunch and carnival games from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 12.

Bunkertown Brethren Church/Good News Lutheran Brethren Church

Bunkertown Brethren Church/Good News Lutheran Brethren Church will hold Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 to 12. The theme is Rocky Railway-Jesus' Power Pulls Us Through.

Vacation Bible School will be held 5:45 to 8 p.m. July 19 to July 23 at the church, 52 Bunkertown Road, McAlisterville.

In conjunction with the Bunkertown/Good News Church VBS, Good News Lutheran Brethren Church (across from East Juniata High School) will hold a Community Adult Bible Study from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 19 through Thursday, July 22, followed by a snack time.

Strodes Mills Baptist Church

Strodes Mills Baptist Church, 8151 US Hwy 522 S, Lewistown, will hold vacation Bible school with the theme Wonder World Funfest: Amazed by Our Extraordinary Savior from 6:30-8:30 p.m., July 26-30, for children age 3 through sixth grade. Church Hill United Methodist Church

Church Hill United Methodist Church, 199 Woodland Circle, Reedsville, will offer vacation Bible school from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 15 to 19 with the theme "Wilderness Escape." The theme tells the story of Moses and the Hebrew people as they traveled to the Promised land. The program is open to kindergarten to seventh grade. All are invited.
