LEWISTOWN -- Lewistown Ministerium will conduct Lenten services via Zoom in place of the usual luncheon services. Services will be held at noon Wednesdays and will last about 30 minutes. All are welcome to attend.

Revival services offered
McALISTERVILLE -- Stony Run Mission, 2825 Evendale Hill Road, will hold revival services with Mark Bales and The Good News Singers March 7-10.
Sunday services will be at 9:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday services will be at 7 p.m.

Sermons should be limited to 1,000 words; exceptions may be made at the editor's discretion.

Church to host in-person services
LEWISTOWN -- First United Methodist Church is again hosting in-person worship beginning at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 21.
The church is asking congregants to strictly follow guidelines put in place by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and practice mask wearing and social distancing at all times within the church building.
Church seating will be clearly marked to adhere to social distance guidelines,
Online services will continue for those who are at risk with health concerns.
The church ministry council has set a metric of 100 positive cases or less per week for two consecutive weeks for in-house worship to continue.
If positive cases exceed 100, the option of virtual worship will be exercised. The council will closely monitor the number of new cases weekly in Mifflin County to determine the future outlook of services. Sunday school and other in-person gatherings, such as youth fellowship, will be offered beginning March 7, if cases continue to trend downward.
