STATE COLLEGE -- La Fiesta Band will perform Sunday as part of South Hills School of Business & Technology's 2026 Music Picnic Series.
The free outdoor concert begins at 6 p.m. on the north lawn of South Hills' main campus, 480 Waupelani Drive. Grounds open at 4 p.m.
La Fiesta Band performs a mix of Latin music styles, including salsa, cumbia and merengue.
The featured community organization for the evening is the Mid-State Literacy Council, which has provided adult education services in Centre and Clearfield counties since 1971. The organization offers literacy, English language, math, technology and communication instruction through classes, tutoring and workshops.
The concert will be held rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Food and snacks will be available for purchase from the Dogs on the Run hot dog cart.
