STATE COLLEGE — The Triple A Blues Band will perform Sunday, July 19, as part of the 2026 Music Picnic Series at South Hills School of Business & Technology.

The free outdoor concert will begin at 6 p.m. on the north lawn of the school’s main campus, 480 Waupelani Drive, State College.

The Triple A Blues Band has been a fixture on the central Pennsylvania music scene since its first performance at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts in 1991. In 1999, the group won Billboard magazine’s “Best Unsigned Band” award for its album Highwater, earning the honor from more than 1,300 entries. The band’s performances feature a mix of Delta, country, Chicago, jump, swing and soul blues, along with original compositions.

The concert will be held rain or shine. Grounds open at 4 p.m., with music scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase from the Dogs on the Run hot dog cart. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Free parking and restrooms will be available.
