Tussey Mountain Moonshiners to headline South Hills Music Picnic
STATE COLLEGE — The Tussey Mountain Moonshiners will perform as part of the South Hills School of Business & Technology’s Music Picnic Series on June 21 at the school’s main campus, 480 Waupelani Drive, State College.
The free outdoor concert will begin at 6 p.m. on the north lawn and continue until approximately 7:30 p.m. Grounds will open at 4 p.m.
The Central Pennsylvania-based band performs a mix of bluegrass, Americana, old-time music and original songs.
As part of the event’s Community of Caring Series, representatives from Centre Helps will also be on hand to share information about the nonprofit organization’s crisis intervention and community support services.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. The event will be held rain or shine. Food will be available from the Dogs on the Run hot dog cart, and free parking and restrooms will be available on site.
