STATE COLLEGE — The Bellefonte Community Band will present an “America 250”-themed concert Sunday, July 5, as part of the 2026 South Hills School of Business & Technology Music Picnic Series.
The free outdoor concert will begin at 6 p.m. on the north lawn of South Hills’ main campus, 480 Waupelani Drive, State College.

The concert also will recognize local musicians who participated in the 1976 Bicentennial parades in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
The Bellefonte Community Band is directed by Leigh Hurtz and Meg Pedlow Smith.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. The grounds will open at 4 p.m., with the performance scheduled to conclude around 7:30 p.m. Dogs on the Run hot dog cart will be on site offering food and snacks. Parking and restrooms will be available.
