STATE COLLEGE — A Centre County man was sentenced Wednesday to more than eight years in federal prison after pleading guilty to distributing and possessing child pornography.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Jeffrey Stormer, 64, of State College, was sentenced to 97 months in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $9,000 in restitution to victims depicted in the images.
Federal prosecutors said Stormer pleaded guilty Dec. 22, 2025, to distributing child pornography on Jan. 5, 2023, and possessing child pornography between April 2022 and February 2023.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Stormer’s residence during the investigation and seized several electronic devices. A forensic examination revealed Stormer maintained shareable folders containing child pornography on one of his computers, according to prosecutors.
Investigators said the material was transmitted through an online platform more than 900 times. The files included approximately 8,000 images and 250 videos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
The case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Alisan V. Martin.
