‘Agriculture Adventures Activity Camp’ June 24-25

Penn State Extension’s ‘Agriculture Adventures Activity Camp’ will be June 24 and 25 in Selinsgrove.
SELINSGROVE — Children with an interest in agriculture are invited to “Agriculture Adventures Activity Camp.”
Join Penn State Extension for a two-day adventure exploring fiber animals, cattle, poultry, plants, canines, drones and careers. Open to youth ages 8-12, this day camp will feature a variety of activities related to agriculture. The camp will be June 24 and 25, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, and is free of charge. This camp will be at the Snyder County Penn State Extension office, located at 713 Bridge St., Selinsgrove.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Learn about different careers for dogs
• Make ice cream and learn about milking procedures
• Learn how yarn is made and create a fiber arts project
• Learn about plants and craft a seed bomb
• Complete poultry exploration and make a bouncy egg
• Visit with a drone operator
Registration is required by June 1. To register go to https://4h.zsuite.org/. Complete all of the information when you enroll, and on the Club Tab, select Snyder as the county and Agriculture Adventures Day Camp as the Club. The project is Explore 4-H.
