Local firefighter dies due to injuries from Monday crash

Burnham man was traveling through Clinton County

RENOVO -- A Burnham man has died due to injuries sustained in a crash earlier this week in Clinton County.

Chief Logan Fire Co. firefighter Zachary Logan, of Burnham was driving at 3:01 p.m. Monday on state Route 120 in Noyes Township, Clinton County when he left the roadway via the East berm as he was traveling North along state Route 120, according to Pennsylvania State Police Lamar.

Police said Logan lost control of his 2003 Kenworth T800 and then attempted to regain control of the vehicle before he re-entered the roadway, traveled in a northwest direction and stuck an embankment.

Police said the vehicle overturned and slid into a tree.

Police said Logan sustained severe injuries in the crash and was transported to Geisinger Medical Center by LifeFlight.
