Lewistown announces fall leaf collection schedule

LEWISTOWN — The Borough of Lewistown will begin fall leaf collection Monday, and continue through Friday, Dec. 4. Leaves will be collected Monday through Friday on the next working day following residents’ regular refuse collection day. Residents should place leaves at the curb in plastic trash bags before 6 a.m. on their scheduled pickup day. Borough refuse tags are not required. LEWISTOWN — Republican gubernatorial candidate Stacy Garrity and running mate Jason Richey carried Mifflin County Tuesday, winning local voters’ support in the race for Pennsylvania governor and lieutenant governor.
