LEWISTOWN — Republican gubernatorial candidate Stacy Garrity and running mate Jason Richey carried Mifflin County Tuesday, winning local voters’ support in the race for Pennsylvania governor and lieutenant governor. Vehicle strikes deer on Ferguson Valley Road WAYNE TOWNSHIP — A Chambersburg woman’s vehicle sustained disabling damage after striking a deer on Ferguson Valley Road Nov. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown. Police said Kendra D. Zook, 33, was driving a 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross south near 4255 Ferguson Valley Road at about 9 p.m. when a deer entered the roadway. Zook was wearing a seat belt and was not transported for medical treatment, police said. She was not cited.
