HUNTINGDON -- The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections will host a job fair from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at SCI Huntingdon, 1100 Pike St., Huntingdon.
The facility is seeking corrections officer trainees and applicants for positions in several other fields.
Applicants for corrections officer trainee positions must be at least 18 years old. The department has also received a waiver of Pennsylvania’s residency requirement, allowing it to recruit candidates from neighboring states.
No appointment or registration is required. Attendees are encouraged to apply online before the event. On-site interviews will be conducted for corrections officer trainee positions, and applicants should bring two forms of identification.
