Lewistown man accused of child sexual abuse offenses
LEWISTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police Southwest Computer Crime Task Force is investigating a Lewistown man accused of sexual abuse of children offenses.
Police said investigators executed a search warrant Thursday at a residence at 529 Valley St. in Lewistown. The investigation stemmed from a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTipline report from Snapchat regarding the alleged possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse material.
Aaron Aldinger, of Lewistown, was taken into custody and charged with 18 counts of sexual abuse of children. Police said bail information was not known at the time of the release.
Woman charged with DUI after vehicle enters pond
McVEYTOWN -- A Lewistown woman faces charges after police said she drove a vehicle into a pond while impaired by prescription medication.
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown said troopers responded to the area of Fairview and Irvin Ridge roads at about 3:25 p.m. Sept. 1 for a report of a vehicle in a pond.
Police identified the driver as Kristie Winn, 51, of Lewistown. During the investigation, troopers determined Winn was driving while impaired by prescription medication, according to the report.
Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge 58-3-03.
Police investigate terroristic threats report
BEAVER SPRINGS -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove are investigating a report of terroristic threats involving a 47-year-old Milroy woman.
Troopers were dispatched to Snyder Avenue at about 6:08 p.m. Sept. 30 for the reported incident. No additional details were released.
Beavertown man injured in crash
BEAVER SPRINGS -- A Beavertown man suffered suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash Sept. 22 along Mattern Road, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove.
Police said John C. Allenbaugh Sr., 61, was driving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee south when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, continued along a grass berm and struck a tree. The vehicle rotated about 90 degrees counterclockwise before coming to rest facing west along the highway.
Allenbaugh was transported by Beaver Springs Ambulance to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. Police said he was not charged.
Police investigate Franklin Township theft
MIDDLEBURG -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove are investigating a reported theft involving two Middleburg residents.
Police said the incident was reported at about 10:22 a.m. Sept. 22 along West Raleigh Avenue. The victims were identified as a 65-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman. No additional details were released.
Police investigate Walmart retail theft
SELINSGROVE -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove are investigating a reported retail theft at the Selinsgrove Walmart Supercenter.
Police said troopers were dispatched to the store along North Susquehanna Trail at about 3:04 p.m. Friday for a report of retail theft. A 32-year-old Beaver Springs man was listed as the arrestee. No additional details were released.
Man charged with trespassing
BEAVER SPRINGS -- A 48-year-old Penns Creek man faces charges following a reported trespassing incident at The Laundry Room in Beaver Springs.
Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove said troopers responded to the business along Route 522 at about 8:56 p.m. Thursday. Charges were filed through District Court 17-3-04.
