Driver with suspended license found with marijuana

LEWISTOWN -- Lewistown Police Department officers stopped Patricia A. Auker, 46, of Lewistown, after she made an illegal turn on Chestnut Street at 12:29 a.m. Sept. 24, according to a release issued on Thursday. Auker's license was suspended and she began pulling clear plastic bags from her purse, including one containing marijuana she could not legally possess. A consent search revealed a plastic tube with drug residue. She was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privileges are suspended.

Warrant arrest leads to cocaine seizure

LEWISTOWN -- At 8:59 p.m. Sept. 24, Lewistown Police Department officers located Tyler R. Kenepp, 37, of Lewistown, on Valley Street and confirmed he had an active warrant, according to a release issued on Thursday. After he retreated into 210 Valley St. and refused to open the door, officers formed a perimeter until a female allowed entry. Kenepp was found in a second floor bedroom where drug paraphernalia was in plain view. A consent search uncovered powder cocaine, crack cocaine, pipes and scales. He admitted the contraband was his and was charged with multiple drug offenses and evading arrest.

Warehouse dispute ends in alleged assault

LEWISTOWN -- Lewistown Police Department officers responded to a DHL warehouse behind West Fourth Street in Lewistown at 11:20 a.m. Sept. 25 for a report of a supervisor who allegedly attacked an employee during an argument, according to a release issued on Thursday. The employee sustained minor injuries and simple assault charges are expected, police said.

Lewistown man cited after yelling at neighbors

LEWISTOWN -- Anthony J. Mitchell, 32, of Lewistown, was cited by Lewistown Police Department officers cited for disorderly conduct at 12:15 p.m. Sept. 25 after he allegedly yelled at neighbors attempting to provoke a fight, according to a release issued on Thursday. A neighbor's porch camera confirmed the behavior and Mitchell did not answer his door.

Area man jailed for violating PFA order

LEWISTOWN -- Colin W. Herman, 29, of unknown address, was arrested by Lewistown Police Department officers at 2:33 p.m. Sept. 25 after he allegedly shouted obscenities at a woman protected by a PFA order, according to a release issued on Thursday. Witnesses confirmed the violation. Herman was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown and charged with indirect criminal contempt.

Teen hospitalized after taking mother's medication

LEWISTOWN -- Lewistown Police Department officers responded to West Charles Street at 5:16 p.m. Sept. 25 for a juvenile who stole and consumed a large quantity of their mother's Adderall, according to a release issued on Thursday. The teen experienced medical side effects and was transported to the hospital. A juvenile allegation was filed for theft and possession of controlled substances.

Drug task force detail nets multiple arrests

LEWISTOWN -- A coordinated effort between the Mifflin County District Attorney's Office, Mifflin County Drug Task Force, Lewistown Police Department and Mifflin County Regional Police Department on Sept. 25 resulted in 27 stops targeting drug related activity, according to a release issued on Thursday. At 8:37 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle leaving a Valley Street drug house and found crack pipes and 1.5 grams of crack cocaine on passenger Kimberly J. Yeater, 50, of Lewistown. She was charged with possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia. A separate female was arrested on West Fourth Street on warrants. At 9:39 p.m., officers pursued an e bike operator who fled to a drug house, then on foot. After failed Taser deployments, officers arrested Christopher M. Denson, 28, of Steelton, who had multiple felony warrants and was identified as a source of crack cocaine distribution. Charges were handled by MCRPD.

Cracked windshield stop leads to opioid seizure

LEWISTOWN -- Lewistown Police Department officers stopped Christopher Zimmerman, 40, of Lewistown, at 3:07 p.m. Sept. 28 for a cracked windshield and noted furtive movements and a strong masking odor, according to a release issued on Thursday. Zimmerman consented to a search and officers found two opioid pills he could not legally possess. He was charged with possession of controlled substances.

Man charged after entering home, found with stolen gun

LEWISTOWN -- Gregory A. Peck, 55, of address unknown, was arrested by Lewistown Police Department officers at 1:46 p.m. Sept. 29 after he allegedly entered a residence on Forsythe Lane in Lewistown through a window despite being kicked out the day before, according to a release issued on Thursday. Peck possessed three handguns, including one reported stolen in West Virginia in 2017, and also had a marijuana pipe and residue. He was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespassing.

Magazine display prompts disorderly conduct charges

LEWISTOWN -- Lewistown Police Department officers responded at 4:05 p.m. Sept. 30 to West Third and North Wayne streets in Lewistown for a report of threats involving a firearm, according to a release issued on Thursday. They located a van driven by Josue E. Guzman Marchorro, 22, of Timonium, Md., who possessed a loaded 25 round magazine but no gun. Guzman reportedly held the magazine in his lap during a confrontation with Juan Long Dejesus, 34, of Lewistown. Both men were cited for disorderly conduct, and Guzman was additionally charged with driving under suspension.
